Municipal Water Tower Pedestal from Octaform Systems
Octaform Systems Inc., an innovative technology company, has produced a stay-in-place concrete-forming system that makes concrete stronger and offers more construction versatility for fresh and waste water management applications.
The secret lies within Octaform™ patented technology, which consists of PVC panels and connectors that enclose the concrete and rebar to form a watertight protective shell. Unlike traditional concrete-forming systems, Octaform's proprietary industrial-strength PVC formwork protects the concrete structure from the damaging effects of chemicals and other harmful elements. The result is a reliable product that delivers decades of worry-free performance.
Octaform Systems has recently supplied a PVC concrete forming system for the construction of an elevated water tank in Platte County, Kansas City, Montana.
The project is currently under construction. The water tower pedestal will be 72 feet in elevation. A Permastore water tank will be mounted on top of the pedestal once completed later this spring.
Octaform's versatility is shown in many applications like: liquid urea fertilizer tanks, municipal waste storage facilities, fresh water storage tanks, manure containment tanks, and processing tanks in the food industry. The Octaform System has a CFIA Canadian Food Inspection Agency rating.
Octaform Systems Inc. is a leader in building state-of-the-art industrial buildings, vehicle washes, livestock production barns, aquaculture tanks, agriculture tanks, and a variety of other custom applications.
